 Timothy A. Townsend, age 51, left us to take his place in Heaven on Sunday, September 5, 2010. He was born on November 24, 1958, and lived most of his life in DeLand. Tim was an avid fisherman who made friends easily. He is survived by his mother, Zuleim A. Townsend; his brother, Thomas R. Townsend, Jr.; his sister-in-law, Candy Townsend; his nephews, Tom and Pat Townsend; and his girlfriend, Teresa Hensarling. He joins his father, Thomas R. Townsend, Sr. and his son, Jason Townsend in eternity. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 10th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home. Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 11th at 10:00 a.m. He will be interned at DeLand Memorial Gardens. His family wishes all his many friends to be with them to say goodbye.

I was very good friends with Tim, David and Jimmy..the 3 of them were always together, called each other "mary" for some odd reason..
How did Tim die? I know he had a son with Susie Plude..she should know, does anyone know where she is?
I have often thought of Tim over the years, especially when a song comes on that reminds me of him and I together..we did spend a lot of time together in the "summer house" Lake 11..and at the Beach...Daytona Beach..
Tim, even tho I haven't see u in years..u will be sorely missed from my heart.
Thank you for a lot of wild memories of my high school years..

Tim, Robin and I had many nights on the beach in Daytona. Goods time were had back then. So sorry for the loss. RIP Tim.
