David Eric Kelly

David Eric Kelly, 58, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by family. David was born a Navy baby in Annapolis Maryland. He was predeceased by his father, former County Manager, Thomas C. Kelly and his mother Carole K. Burris. He is survived by brother Thomas A. Kelly (Elena) and sister Ellen K. Gage (Scott). He is also survived by step-mother Joan Kelly (and her extended family) and nieces Morgan Gage and Mallory Kelly and nephew Alexander Gage. David moved from Greenbelt, Maryland to Deland in1971 where he began junior high. David became a star tennis player and received over 60 college tennis scholarship offers. He attended Auburn University working his way to the top position. A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018, at his brother's home (66 S. Center St., Ormond Beach (386) 679-5647) from 4-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Florida Tennis Center Foundation, 1 Deuce Court, Daytona Beach, FL 32124
