Jerry Lee Reed, age 48, of Texas and formerly of Alleghany County, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 in Brownwood, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, John Reed. He is survived by his wife, Lorie DeHay Reed of the home; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Reed, Seth Reed, Quade Reed and Theron and Melaine Thompson; three daughters, Andrea Winkler, Larissa Knapp and Sharena Thompson; his mother and her husband, Josephine and Jerry Bearman; a sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Tom Parrish; seven grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
