A Funeral Service for Vicky Gloria Longenecker, 50, was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009 in DeLand. Interment followed at Oakdale Cemetery.
Vicky was a lifetime resident of DeLand and attended the Umatilla Church of God. She had been a Secretary and Manager at Volusia County Speedway Park for over 20 years and loved racing. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Donald; her parents, Grady and Annie Palmatier; sons, Donald Irvin Longenecker and Toby Lee Longenecker; daughter, Amber Lee Anne Moore; brothers, Clarence Neal Palmatier and Jody Watson Palmatier; and five grandchildren.

Vicky and I were best friends from the first day we met. We spent countless hours together, and I loved her like a sister. Rest in peace my dear sweet friend and I'll see you in our next life.
